AMIC R&T General

Universities visits
October 10, 2011
The research orientation of AMIC is strongly linked to the context of the creation of AMIC. As you may recall, AMIC is an industry-led research centre jointly financed by the Malaysian Government and the industry (CTRM, EADS and Rolls Royce). The main aim partners have been pursuing with this centre is to enhance the level of cooperation between industries and universities in Malaysia on aerospace related projects. Carrying on with this idea, four main areas reflecting the current challenges and opportunities of Aerospace industry in Malaysia have been selected within AMIC scope: Jetfuel production from microalgae, Innovative manufacturing of aerospace composite structures, New green materials for aerospace and system integration.  Related to these main orientations, call for proposals will be issued, starting in the very near future with the first call for proposal. We hope you will all be very active in proposing as many projects as possible.
